Green Out game set for Friday, Sept. 25, 2015

Versus: Lobos will take on the Pine Tree Pirates, 7:30 p.m. at Lobo Stadium

On Gameday:

The Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. is sponsoring Lobo Green Out 2015 on Friday, September 25, when the Longview Lobos host the Pine Tree Pirates for a district game.

Everyone who wears a Lobo Green Out 2015 T-shirt to the Lobo/Lions game on Friday, September 25, is invited to form the pre-game BIG GREEN VICTORY LINE for the Lobos.  The victory line will form at 7 p.m. on the track on the home side of the field.  The Foundation encourages fans to arrive early and plan to show their Lobo spirit and pride.

Lobo fans, join the fun of Green Out 2015.  The Lobos are 11-2 on Green Out Night at Lobo Stadium.  Let's help the Lobos keep winning!

Citizens National Bank Tailgate Party on Green Out Night: The bankers from Citizens National Bank of Longview are hosting the first Green Out tailgate.  The bankers will be grilling hamburgers with all the trimmings for Lobo fans to enjoy prior to the Green Out football game.  For a $5 donation that benefits the Longview ISD Foundation, fans can enjoy a grilled burger, chips and a cookie.  Drinks will be available for a nominal charge.

It’s going to be a big Lobo celebration at this year’s Green Out game!!

T-shirts now on sale!

How to purchase shirts: The LISD Foundation will sell the all-new Green Out 2015 T-shirts in sizes Youth Small through Adult XXXL for $15 during Lobo season ticket sales week at the LISD Athletic Office. T-shirts will also be on sale at the Education Support Center, 1301 E. Young Street, in the Community Relations Department, and on select LISD campuses during registration (while supplies last).

Sizes & More Info: Green Out T-shirts are available in sizes Youth Small through 3XL.  The shirt has a great new superhero design.

About the Green Out T-shirt Sales: All proceeds from Green Out 2015 benefit the Longview ISD Foundation’s annual Grants-to-Teachers Program.  Since 1996, the Foundation has funded 520 grants through the Grants-to-Teachers Program, returning $541,000 to Longview ISD teachers, counselors, librarians, and nurses so that they can provide the very best education possible for their students.  In addition, the Longview ISD Foundation has funded thirteen Campus Initiative Grants for a total of $32,237.72 to enhance programs that align with campus and district improvement plans to increase student achievement.
