Longview ISD Foundation Green Out 2012, Beginning the second decade of a Lobo Tradition

When: Friday, Oct. 12 (Made up from Sept. 14 rain-out)

Versus: Lobos will take on the Rockwall Heath Hawks, 7:30 p.m. at Lobo Stadium

On Gameday: Everyone who wears a Lobo Green Out 2012 T-shirt to the Lobos/Hawks game on Oct. 12, is invited to form the pre-game BIG GREEN VICTORY LINE for the Lobos.  The victory line will form at 6:50 PM on the track on the home side of the field.  The Foundation encourages fans to arrive early and plan to show their Lobo spirit and pride. The Lobos are 9-1 on Green Out Night at Lobo Stadium.  Let’s start the second decade of Green Out with a big win!

 The Longview ISD Foundation will also be selling chrome Rocking L car emblems for $18.00 each.

Come to the LISD Foundation's first meeting this school year: The first LISD Foundation meeting of the new school year will be on Tuesday, September 18, at noon in Room 182 of the Education Support Center, 1301 E. Young Street.  We will welcome our new members and get busy on our projects for this year.

About the Green Out T-shirt Sales: All proceeds from Green Out 2012 benefit the Longview ISD Foundation’s annual Grants-to-Teachers Program.  Since 1996, the Foundation has funded 520 grants through the Grants-to-Teachers Program, returning $465,794.67 to Longview ISD teachers, counselors, librarians, and nurses so that they can provide the very best education possible for their students.  In addition, the Longview ISD Foundation has funded thirteen Campus Initiative Grants for a total of $32,237.72 to enhance programs that align with campus and district improvement plans to increase student achievement.
