Everyone who wears a Lobo Green Out 2013 T-shirt to the Lobo/Skeeters game on Friday, September 27, is invited to form the pre-game BIG GREEN VICTORY LINE for the Lobos. The victory line will form at 6:50 p.m. on the track on the home side of the field. The Foundation encourages fans to arrive early and plan to show their Lobo spirit and pride.Lobo fans, join the fun of Green Out 2013. The Lobos are 10-1 on Green Out Night at Lobo Stadium. The LISD Foundation is selling an all-new Lobo Green Out 2013 t-shirt for $15 each at the LISD Athletic Office and in the Community Relations Office at the Education Support Center, 1301 E. Young Street. Shirts will also be on sale at Longview High School registration, at Foster Middle School and Judson Middle School registrations, at back-to-school nights at Bramlette Elementary School, J. Everhart Elementary School, Hudson Elementary School, Johnston-McQueen Elementary School, and Ware Elementary School and at Longview ISD employee convocation on August 19th. Green Out t-shirts are available in sizes youth extra small through adult 3XL. The shirt has a great new design proclaiming the Lobo Dynasty that fans will love. Every Lobo fan will want one.
All proceeds from Green Out 2013 benefit the Longview ISD Foundation’s annual Grants-to-Teachers Program. Since 1996, the Foundation has funded 520 grants through the Grants-to-Teachers Program, returning $541,000 to Longview ISD teachers, counselors, librarians, and nurses so that they can provide the very best education possible for their students. In addition, the Longview ISD Foundation has funded thirteen Campus Initiative Grants for a total of $32,237.72 to enhance programs that align with campus and district improvement plans to increase student achievement.
