Everyone who wears a Lobo Green Out 2008
T-shirt to the Lobo/Texarkana game on Friday,
September 26, is invited to form the pre-game
BIG GREEN VICTORY LINE for the Lobos. Head
Coach John King and the 2008 Lobos want the fans
to open district play at Lobo Stadium with a big
display of Lobo spirit and pride. The victory
line will form at 6:50 PM on the track on the
home side of the field. The Foundation
encourages fans to arrive early.
Lobo fans, join the fun of Green Out 2008. The
Lobos are 6-0 on Green Out Night at Lobo
Stadium. Let’s make it 7-0 on September 26!
All
proceeds from Green Out 2008 benefit the
Longview ISD Foundation’s annual
Grants-to-Teachers Program. Since 1996, the
Foundation has funded 405 grants through the
Grants-to-Teachers Program, returning
$313,182.89 to Longview ISD teachers,
counselors, librarians, and nurses so that they
can provide the very best education possible for
their students. In addition, the Longview ISD
Foundation has funded three Campus Initiative
Grants for a total of $5,637.00 to enhance
programs that align with campus improvement
plans to increase student achievement.
