Fans attending Longview High School home football games at Lobo Stadium should plan ahead this season as several usual parking areas are unavailable because of ongoing bond construction projects at LHS. Campus-area parking is expected to fill quickly on game days. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and review the Lobo Stadium and campus-area parking map before heading to the stadium.

The Lobo Football Booster Club will meet Sept. 8 and all members are encouraged to attend.

The Longview ISD Board of Trustees officially approved the name Trent Williams Multipurpose Indoor Facility during its meeting Monday night, recognizing one of Longview High School's most accomplished alumni. Longview High School coaches John King and Oscar Wilson were recognized Saturday by the Texas High School Coaches Association during the organization's Hall of Honor banquet at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. King, the Lobos' head football coach and athletic director, was inducted into the THSCA Hall of Honor and also received the Coaching Beyond the Game Award. Wilson, Longview's assistant head coach and running backs coach, received the 2026 Tom Landry Awa
